Blanc Occasions held a ‘Ladies Day’ at the Peak Edge Hotel last week in aid of their chosen charity Ashgate Hospice. About 70 people were greeted by a glass of fizz, live saxophonist and a magician.
Everybody looked amazing with lots of fab outfits and hats (and that was just the ladies!) A delicious two course lunch plus an afternoon tea which was served later kept everyone going as they placed their bets. 6 of the races were shown live.
Anne-Marie White owner of Blanc Occasions said ‘Everyone was a winner especially Ashgate Hospice as the day raised £2,400 for the charity.
I would like to thank everyone who came along and lets hope we can make it an annual event’.
Blanc Occasions, which opened in February this year won the ‘Best New Store’ category at the Chesterfield Retail Awards the other night.
Chesterfield Retail Awards celebrate the best shops across Chesterfield. Nominated by the public and judged by a panel of business experts with knowledge of the retail sector. Now in their fourth year the winners were announced at the Winding Wheel at a glittering award ceremony hosted by Cat and Ricky from Peak FM.
Katie Ash from Banner Jones presented the award to Anne-Marie White from Blanc Occasions.
